VILLAGE CLEAN UP DAY.
Sunday 9th. April. Please meet on the village green outside the Smithy Arms at 10.30..
Last year we had a good turnout and the village looked lovely. This year let’s aim for an even better turn out.
Some concerns have been raised recently about the amount of dog muck around the Village Green. Please will all dog owners clean up after their dogs and keep the village pleasant for everyone.
Also everyone will have noticed that the school windows have been boarded up making the building look very unsightly. The Education Authority were left with no alternative after the windows were repeatedly broken. May this be a reminder that a relatively small piece of vandalism can make the whole area look quite unpleasant.
