RSVP Newsletter - November 2005
.R.S.V.P. AGM.
Many thanks to all of those who attended the AGM. It was nice to welcome several new faces. Funds stand at approximatly £700, balance sheets for the year will be prepared and displayed on the village notice boards in the future. On reflection all social events have proved popular and the newsletter continues to generate positive feedback. Many ideas for events for 2006 were discussed. Many thanks to everyone who has helped or supported the RSVP in anyway.
HALLOWEEN PARTY.
A very successful Halloween Party was held at Waen Chapel for the children of Rhuallt and Waen. This was both organised and funded by Simon Jones, Jessica Catherine and Danniielle Griffiths. Many thanks to these youngsters for planning this event, and working selflessly to clean and decorate the Hall and for entetaining the younger children so well.
RSVP FIREWORK DISPLAY.
A magnificant firework display was held at The White House. This was well attended and everyone appeared to have a wonderful time. Many thanks to everyone who was involved in organising this event. Particular thanks to Marcus Copeland.
CHRISTMAS FLOAT.
The Rotary Club Christmas Float will be stopping in the Smithy Arms carpark on . The RSVP will follow this with mince pies and carols.There will be a raffle in aid of RSVP funds.
THE SMITHY ARMS CHRISTMAS DRAW.
This will take place on Friday 23rd. December at 8.30pm.. This year it is in aid of The Special Care Baby Unit at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. All donations of prizes gratefully received.
RSVP CHRISTMAS SOCIAL.
Simon and Lisa Harrison-Smith have kindly offered to host an Informal Christmas Buffet at Rhuallt Hall. This will be held on Saturday 17th. December from 7pm. Everyone welcome to our Christmas Party. BAR STAFF.
There are currently vacencies for bar staff at the Smithy Arms. All applicants must be at least 18 years old. For further details please contact Mrs. Carol Latham on 01745 582298.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS.
We are proud to congratulate Julian Bewley (Pennant), who has been picked to play water polo for the team representing Wales in the Commonwealth Games.
We wish Mrs. Smith (Isfryn) a speedy recovery following her recently broken arm.
