LADS & DADS FOOTBALL (LASSES WELCOME!!)

After a couple of false starts the football sessions are now underway. There has been plenty of interest and under Chris’ expert tuition we are expecting to have a professional team in no time!! Anyyone of any age is welcome to join in, no experience is necessary. Sessions take place each Sunday at 09.30 on Rhuallt School Field.

 

 

RSVP TREASURE HUNT & BAR B Q.

The RSVP held a treasure hunt on foot on Sun. 29th. May. It started from Rhuallt school field and ended with a meal at The Smithy.This event was very well attended and was a good opportunity to meet some of the families who have recently moved into the area. Many thanks to Bernard who not only set a fun and challenging treasure hunt, but who also donated the prizes. Also thanks to Carol and the staff at the Smithy for all their hard work on what proved to be a rather hectic night.

 

 

BUS SHELTER.

The bus shelter was provided by the Community Council for the use and enjoyment of the residents. Recently it has suffered from some vandalism which has been rectified.The Community Council wishes to emphasise that any person who commits further acts of criminal damage will be actively pursued through the appropriate legal channels.

 

 

LONDON TO PARIS BIKE RIDE JULY 2005

Chris Armstrong is taking on the challenge of cycling from London to Paris, some 300 miles, for charity. He is raising funds for Action Medical Research, one of the leading medical charities in the UK. They believe diseases and disabilities can be beaten, and through medical research they are creating a healthier future for everyone. Chris will be cycling an average of 75 miles per day, saddle sores permitting!

DOGS FOULING ON SCHOOL FIELD &FOOTPATH.

Many people have complained about the amount of dog muck on the school field and adjacent footpath. May we remind everybody that dogs are not allowed on this field and ask all dog owners to be vigilant and to clear up after their dogs where ever they foul.

 

 

RSVP SUMMER NIGHT OUT & ACTIVITIES.

The RSVP is hoping to hold a Summer night out and are prepared to organise some activities over the summer months.Last year Mair & Bernard hosted a puppet show at Ty Gwyn. Ideas are needed for this year please. Anything will be considered.

The stork has had a busy few weeks in Rhuallt.

Congratulations to Glyn & Ruth Jones on the birth of Harry. Harry arrived rather early and is still catching up in hospital.His Mum reports that he is doing well and we look forward to welcoming him home to the village.
